Apollo Brown x Ras Kass - How To Kill God (Video)

Ras

Apollo Brown and Ras Kass return with another visual from their collaborative album "Blasphemy". The second track to be lifted from the project is "How To Kill God". The title of the song isn't as bad as it sounds. On the contrary.

"It's tearing down all the false imagery and ideologies people have put in the name of God - it's aimed at people who don't listen, search or study, but instead blindly follow..."

Afrika Bambaataa x Scor-zay-zee x DJ Woody x Heavy Links Live in Manchester

Afrika

At the end of November, More Bounce welcomes one of the Godfathers of Hip Hop, Afrika Bambaataa to Manchester. The city will see this living legend as part of his "Hip Hop History Tour". Rarely do we see an artist of such pedigree in a venue as intimate as The Roadhouse.

Joining him in support on the night is our own UK legend Scor-zay-zee. After the recent success in crowd funding his debut album "Aeon: Peace To The Puzzle", the Notts emcee will be at The Roadhouse to let loose on the mic with this new material and I'm sure a bunch of classic tracks too.

It doesn't stop there. Also on the bill is turntablist extraordinaire DJ Woody. Quite fittingly, Woody will be displaying his live AV set "40 Years Of Hip Hop". Nothing but good things can be said about his live show. Time and again he's brought something new and unmissable. Here's your chance if you haven't seen it yet.

Rounding out this already packed line up is East Midlands crew Heavy Links. Bringing that boom bap Hip Hop we all love with a UK seasoning. Habitat, El Tel The Dopeness and Donnie Propa will be on deck to rock Manchester.

Check the flyer above for details. Not a night to be missed.

Run The Jewels - Early (Live on David Letterman)

RTJ

As a long time fan of both Killer Mike and El-P, it was inevitable that I would support them when they announced their collaboration as Run The Jewels a year or so ago. Now on their second album together with "Run The Jewels 2", to say they've come a long way is an understatement.

Last night saw the duo performing on the Late Show with David Letterman. An independent Hip Hop act on mainstream television is a big deal. It's a bit weird to say, as I don't know them personally, but I'm proud of them.

"Run The Jewels 2" is available now.
