Today marks the tenth anniversary of the passing of J Dilla.
Not much else can be said about the impact that he had on music, his family, friends and fans. A few years ago, as part of their Crate Diggers series, Fuse TV put together an episode looking at his personal collection of vinyl. In his absence, numerous close friends and collaborators talk about the man and his music.
Here we have the visuals to Washington Heights emcee Skematics' latest track, "4 Elements". The video features The Yardfather himself, Saigon, as well as one half of Blahzay Blahzay and frequent Sean Price collaborator, PF Cuttin, who produced the track.

Danse of Brooklyn Stickup returns with a new video for his single "FUSMD". Accompanied by April Oneill on vocals, Danse delivers an homage to the underdog. Despite the no nonsense lyrics on the track, he shows a sense of hope and personal accomplishment with the guests in the visuals. #FUSMD

Back in Manchester once again, More Bounce and The Remedy Sessions present DJ Boogie Blind. The DJ for Pharoahe Monch, Lord Finesse and current member of The X-ecutioners will be playing live at The Live Room on December 11th. Definite party starter.
He'll be supported on the night by Mikey DON, DJ Omas and El Statiko. Tickets and information over on the Facebook event page.

Triple Darkness drop a new video from their latest album "Darker Than Black" with the single "A Cup Of Spiders". With production from Ringz Ov Saturn and cuts from Evil Ed, we hear verses from Crown Nectar, Cyrus Malachi, Ray Vendetta and Black Prophet.
The album is available in both digital and physical formats via Bandcamp and Suspect Packages. Vinyl will also be available soon.
AZ returns with the new single and video "Back To Myself". A laid back track on an unorthodox beat for AZ but hopefully this means we're closer to the release of his elusive sequel "Doe Or Die 2". That remains to be seen but this single is available on iTunes now.
On November 20th, ShedTheLight welcome the debut appearance of Skyzoo to Manchester. This show has been a long time coming considering the length of time Skyzoo has been around and putting out music.
The Brooklyn native is fresh off the release of his latest long player, Music For My Friends and a busy schedule promoting the project. This follows last year's collaborative album with his partner in rhyme Torae with their Barrel Brothers album.
Originally slated to appear at the Q Cavern in Piccadilly, the show has been moved to The Mint Lounge on Oldham Street in The Northern Quarter. You can check the event page here on Facebook for further information and tickets. Support on the night comes from Room2 artists Dubbul O & Pro P and also DMC finalist El Statiko.
