Pharrell Williams - Marilyn Monroe (Video)
After the monster hit "Happy" and the eventual release of his sophomore album "G I R L", Pharrell drops a new video for the album's opening track "Marilyn Monroe".
The video has lots of women in it. Brilliant. Who comes up with these video treatments? Not that I'm complaining. And yes, the hat remains. To tell the truth, I'm getting used to it now.

First Word Records x Record Store Day - Nothing Leaves The House (Video)
To celebrate Record Store Day, First Word Records put together this little digging video with Mr. Thing, Eric Lau, Tall Black Guy and Kidkanevil.
First Word Records -
"On a Saturday morning at the start of November 2013, First Word Records took 3 of our favourite producers out of London to spend the day browsing through the vinyl shelves of the biggest record nerd we know - the incomparable Mr Thing. This was the culmination of an idea that first manifested itself on Record Store Day 2012. Like most ideas it was a natural conclusion to a conversation about records and music - kidkanevil had expressed a desire to dig through Mr Thing's sizeable collection for some inspiration. Chatting to Mr Thing it seemed unfair to limit this to only one producer - Tall Black Guy and Eric Lau were top of our wish list. So - a double 7" (Mr Thing would make a beat too - they are his records after all) in time for Record Store Day 2013 (yes, we're a year late). There was however one stipulation about the records from the usually mild-mannered Mr Thing:
'The guys can sample anything they like, but Nothing Leaves The House....'
And who were we to argue.....
The result is four tracks that celebrate our love for record digging, sample chopping and the simple love of a dope beat."
Watch the video and then check the four tracks that were produced below.

Erick Sermon on Rhythm Roulette (Video)
A few people may be a little upset with The Green Eyed Bandit in the UK considering his no show in London and the subsequent cancellation of the EPMD show in Manchester, but come on, it's Erick Sermon. Who doesn't want to see him put together a beat using three random records?
Here he is on this episode of "Rhythm Roulette".
For the record, we don't know exactly why he wasn't in the UK and I hope everything is OK with him.

RATKING - Canal (Video)
I love everything about this. The music and the video match so well. This actually looks like it was shot in the 90's. Taken from RATKING's current project "So It Goes", this is "Canal".
Nas x Q-Tip x The Roots - One Love & The World Is Yours (Live on Jimmy Fallon)
This month Nas celebrates the 20th anniversary of his classic debut album and arguably one of the most important Hip-Hop offerings of all time; "Illmatic". Next week sees the release of "Illmatic XX" and last night he appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" to perform "One Love" from it. Backed by The Roots, Nas also welcomed the producer and guest of the song, Q-Tip to help out.
Nas looks pretty much how he did back in 1994 with the black military jacket and Timbs. Hip-Hop personified right here.
Props to Yardie for the video. They also performed "The World Is Yours". Check the NBC player below "One Love".
